The AMRC Duster will be propelled by the newly designed Alan Johnson Performance Engineering 5300 Hemi.“Our association with AJPE has afforded us the opportunity to partner with several new people and companies,” crew chief Mike Janis Jr. said. “One such example is Andy McCoy of Andy McCoy Race Cars. Andy’s progressive ideas about chassis design will help us with this new venture. We will campaign the AMRC ‘70 Duster for the 2011 ADRL season, utilizing many of Andy’s latest technologies.”McCoy, who has also signed on as an ADRL sponsor for 2011, is thrilled about the partnership with the ADRL and with a talented team like Janis Racing.“We are very excited to work with such a talented group of guys. Mike Jr., with his tuning talents, and Big Mike’s resume as a driver make them a force to be reckoned with,” McCoy said. “This is a real honor for me to team up with Mike and his team. This opportunity will help others to see what we at AMRC can do.
