Default Advanced Clutch Technology Increasing Presence In ADRL For 2011 Season

O’FALLON, MO. (December 15, 2010) - After a memorable first year as a sponsor in 2010, Advanced Clutch Technology (ACT) has again agreed to a partnership with the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) in 2011.There will be another first for ACT and the ADRL, though, as the performance clutch producers will have a display booth at each ADRL event for the coming season.ACT Marketing Manager Cheralyn Smith said the company had big expectations after signing on as an ADRL sponsor in 2010, but they were all blown away with how their first year went with the preeminent eighth-mile drag racing organization.“Last year was our first year with the ADRL and we had an almost overwhelming response,” Smith said. “To see all those fans and all that enthusiasm at each event, it was great. We’re excited to be part of a full ADRL season in 2011.”ACT witnessed the electric atmosphere at ADRL live events for the first time this past year, as the fast-rising company had a booth at the Hardee’s Gateway Drags in St. Louis and at Simpson Dragstock VII at Rockingham Dragway a month later.“Being at an event and involved with the ADRL is really great for us,” Smith said. “In a lot of cases, we’re now able to showcase our product to people who didn’t even have us on their radar.“It’s always great to be at the racetrack and see what people are building, and it’s also exciting to be able to have that interaction with so many people.”ADRL Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Evans is excited that ACT will have an even bigger role in the ADRL in 2011 and will be at all nine national events.“It’s been wonderful to form such a solid relationship with a great company like ACT,” Evans said. “They are innovative company that recognized the benefits of being at our live events, and we look forward to great things with ACT in 2011.”Smith explained that ACT is a company that started at the racetrack and has a core market that includes sport compact vehicles. They have since moved into the domestic market and Smith sees further growth in that area thanks in part to the visibility ACT products have in front of a capacity crowd at an ADRL event.“We see next year as being a huge year for ACT,” Smith said. “Our passion is with performance, so for us to have the ability to show the product and be with people who are enthusiasts, there’s nothing else like it, and there’s no other race organization like the ADRL.”The ADRL’s seventh season begins on March 25-26 in Baytown, Texas and runs through October.
