Circumstances of the accident are unclear at the moment, but Roush was taken to hospital suffering serious but non-life threatening injuries, according to the attending physician, Dr. Kevin Wasco. Roush is in the Theda Clark Medical Center.
Jack Roush is an avid aircraft enthusiast and owns a number of airplanes, including WW II P-51 Mustang fighter craft. This is not the first time that Roush has survived a air crash. In 2002, Roush borrowed an experimental plane for a short flight, but hit an elevated wire on landing. The plane crashed into a lake near Birmingham, AL.
A witness to the crash was a Navy SEAL, who rescued Roush from the sunken airplane. Roush was in hospital for 12 days.
All the staff at Power TV Media send their wishes for a speedy recovery.
Even after being injured from his plane crash, Jack Roush still had the ability to walk out of the airplane.
