driving a stick (rant)
My brother tried teaching me how to drive a stick yesterday. 5 minutes later he was aggravated and gave up on me. Im never going to learn!

I think you'll find a whole bunch of guys willing to teach you how to drive a manual trans car, and Im sure they'll all be more patient than you brother.

just rev it up to 4k and just let off the clutch as fast as u can..thats the fool proof way to taking off..works everytime

Hey now....again, the only reason I stalled out Reiko's car is because he is like 4ft taller than me and I couldn't reach the pedals!!!!  After I adjusted the seat it was all good.

It's really not that hard. But it will definitely take more than 5 minutes to get the feel for it. And one good sized parking lot.

Ditto on that note. I learned in my 85 tempo that that thing still runs strong.. Just needs a new fuel line and fuel pump.... Are those hard to change on that car????

I think he was being sarcastic, last time I checked Stage 3 Spec's were a bit high in the pedal effort & chattering areas. My McLeod is nice & progressive, albeit hard to push in. My CL-S' clutch is a bit to drive smoothly, mostly because the engagement is so short.
