Notchback color opinion
Well, most of you know I have the L, the Cobra and the Notch, and they are all BLACK!!!!!!!!
I bought another notch that is in need of restoration!! I am putting a modular 4.6L SOHC motor and trans in it from an 01 GT. The car is a POS, but it is solid. I do not want another black car. What color???? I was thinking yellow when I saw this car.....but what would be good with a notch?....Damn can't post the pick, I'll try later.

It is a GM Color, but Sunset Orange Metallic is my Fave! Would look awesome on a Notch! Hell throw a SBC in it while you are at it...

I thought about the sonic blue with my current finished notch, then I decided not to, because of the trim. While the trim is nice because I painted it all flat black, it still looks a little used, and I figured with that nice Sonic blue, the trim better be new...and I wasn't gonna spend that kind of money, when the original was decent. The used trim looks great on the black though.
I like that orange you were talking about too. There is a lot of metallic in that. While I am a great painter, I am not perfect, so that would be a challenge for me to lay it down perfect with out it looking stripey!! An expensive challenge!!

I think Black Cherry would be a nice color. Too many bright red, black, and yellow Mustangs.

Think about how a guy would feel if he got his ass stomped by a pink car.

So many colors, so few Mustangs!!! The last gallon of black I bought was 148.00 my cost, list was 184. The last quart of red I bought was 78, dollars for my Ford, and 108 for a 00 Mustang. my cost, 4 quarts to a gallon= $312 to $432 dollars.....roughly. Then I have to buy basemaker, clear coat and activator. I wanted to go cheap, but I went cheap on my current notch.

I thought about that. It would be hilarious to see!! It will be just a stock 260HP 2V, but the car itself is lighter than the 99-04 GT's, plus I removed all the sound deadening material and matting. I would assume it would go mid to low 13's which in a stock looking notch would really surprise people!
