well i heard that stock autos with slicks will slow the car down casue it wont spin off the line and then just bogg out. im looking into some NIttos or the new M/t streets. but some say its not worth it unless you have like a stall or heavy HP ....
et street radials would do the trick and leave room for growth in HP. Nitto's are only marginally better than a normal street tire, but may work OK on your car
HAHAHAHA!!! I originally posted "You spell terribly," then changed the sentance around a bit and forgot to add "ing" to the back of "spell" when I changed up some of the verbage. Stupid me.

On street tires you should be launching around 2,000 -3,000 rpm, based on what your brakes can hold (or line lock).
On drag radials, it should be 3,000-4,000.
Is this a correct assumption????????????
At the track or on the street? I'd blow the street tires off my Cobra (when I had it) at 2000 RPM no problem on the street. (never had the car to the track) Those were on 18" wheels. My 17" Nittos DR's weren't much different.
