Krazybones I need rep points!
Default Anybody have the Hookup on Wash Machines

.......on the east side?

My wife needs a new wash machine so she can wash our clothes . Ours is almost 8 years old and the Timer has gone out on it twice now. Easy to fix, but the part is $80, so I am am saying screw it and not putting any more money into it when it may die again....

So any of you have the Hook up on them as I am going to buy one tonight?

Thanks

I already know who you sent Matt's way.

My hookup is better.

By the way, Joe, did you ever get ahold of my neighbor for those windows you need?

Your neighbor said you never paid him for the work he did on your house

Not yet, I have his info right here and plan to this month.

Ummm, what? I hope you're kidding. He's never done any work on my house and I am in debt to NO ONE. (well, minus my credit union for the truck, and the bank for my house)

I have hookups on nearly everything.

It's really the only reason why my friends keep me around.

Went to ABC 1st (the one on Hall) just to see what they had and the 2 models she wanted they did not have in stock (also asked them to check the Mt.Clemens store - no go so I did not call your guy). Went to Costco, no good, and ended up at SEARS got one on Sale (good deal IMO) on a "GE" Super Capacity, Percelain tub, with 1/2 hp motor with all the goodies for $360 and I brought it home that night. I had to talk the guy down, but he was nice! The only catch was I had to use my Sears card and not take the zero percent financing. I was going to pay cash so it was a win/win in my book!

My Goal was to get a Super capacity 3.5 cu ft or bigger for under $500 so I was happy! Not ready for the front loaders just yet!

Those things are stupid expensive...even for someone like me who get's store cost. Maybe in the next house.

But I'm glad things worked out for you.
