Stock Suspension Street Car Heads up Race?
We're thinking about putting something like this together. Trying to see if there will be enough interest.
Thinking about a 16 car heads up field run on a grudge race track rental day.
Only rules would be stock style suspension, true 10.5s or max 325 Drag Radial, and cars MUST be registered, tagged, and insured.
Maybe set some minimum weights?
Please give me some input if you'd be interested in something like this, or if you think anyone else would.
The goal for the event would be to break even on $$ and have a $1k payout to the winner.
Other than the main shootout it will be an open track rental/grudge race day with an entry fee designed to break even. The shootout cars will pay more to make up the purse.
Any interest?

I'd be intersted too depending on if the car is done in time. Probably wouldn't make the top 16 though.

lol....I doubt Glidden would drive to MI for a $1k payout, and I further doubt he would register and insure his car in order to race for a $1k payout.
Wheeler, on the other hand, would probably take the money

I'd be up for the open track day, just so I could practice...I won't be beating anyone, tho.
