Mark your calendars!!! 3rd Annual Halloween BASH at my place!!! Saturday October 21st
This year will probably be bigger and better than the previous two years. So don't miss it.
The party will be at my house on October 21st. That's a Saturday. It starts at 9:00pm and will go till the wee hours of the next day. Why the 21st you ask? Well, because I know a lot of people will likely be having their own parties on the 28th, and I wouldn't want to be the reason why their guests are missing their party and having a better time at my place...so we did it 1 week earlier than usual.
The party will BYOB and costumes ARE MANDATORY. If you'd like to bring a dish to pass, that would be awesome, but please don't feel obligated to do so.
For those of you who may decide that you want to wear a "smaller than the norm for a fall season" costume, the party will be an inside and outside event. Most of my guests usually choose to hang out outside, so for this reason, heat will be provided. My garage heater will be going, as will my outdoor fireplace, and I will probably wheel over my next door neighbor's outdoor fireplace also. There will be plenty of heat regardless of the weather outside.
And as usual, the grill will be going all night long.
Come one, come all.
Please call, PM, or post up if you need directions to my home.
And for the disclaimers...
Quote:
***EVERY MPH, Pervage, MotownMuscle, DetroitRacing, party I have thrown at my house has gone off without a hitch! EVERYONE has been very respectful of my home, family, property, and other guests, and I'd like to keep that perfect track record going. If you feel for 1 second that you cannot contribute to that stellar track record, please be kind enough to not attend and let me, and all of my guests, enjoy ourselves at my party. Please know that if you do attend, and you do cause trouble, make a scene, etc you will PROMPTLY be asked to leave.***
1.) My backyard has no poles sticking out of the ground that you will cut yourself on. So you can walk and feel safe. (who remember's the thread about that?)
2.) I may or may not water my grass on Saturday. Water = moisture. Moisure = slick surfaces. The grass may be slick, so walk carefully as to not fall. WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
3.) I have a dog. That dog likes to dig holes. There may or may not be some small holes that have since "disappeared" under grass that has grown back over it. So walk carefully as to not fall. WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
4.) My house is a Bi-Level. When you walk into my house you will have to walk DOWN 4-5 steps. Stairs are tricky and hurt like hell when you fall down them. So walk carefully as to not fall. WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
5.) I will have a bonfire going. Fire = hot. DO NOT TOUCH THE FIRE OR THE OUTDOOR FIREPLACE!!! They will burn you. So walk carefully as to not fall into the fire. WALK NEAR THE FIRE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
6.) I have a fence around my yard and a gate to enter the yard. Fences hurt when you stumble into them So walk carefully as to not fall. WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! Gate's hurt when you get your fingers/penis caught in them. APPROACH GATE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
7.) For those of you who will be drinking, I will offer you a place to sleep or call you a cab. Please do not drive while intoxicated. DRINK AND DRIVE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!
8.) All guests are considered a "licensee" which may be revoked at the sole discretion of the owner and you may be "escorted" from the premises.
9.) The pool will be closed...do NOT try to get in it!!!
10.) All guests assume the risk of intoxication and a full belly of food.
11.) Stupidity is not a defense.
12.) Food may have come into contact with Peanuts, if you are allergic to peanut products, don't eat.
13.) Food may be cooked from raw to well done, guest assumes risk.
14.) My backyard has a good amount of cement (rear driveway, garage, etc) and also rocks (surrounding the pool). Cement and rocks hurt when you fall on them. Try to remain standing at all times. WALK AT YOUR OWN RISK!
|
With all that said, I look forward to partying with all of you on Saturday October 21 at my place for my 3rd annual COSTUMES MANDATORY Halloween Bash.
