Gotta love thiefs
Well I was at work last night and happened to pull behind my Ram out in the street and saw that someone had stolen my spare. I don't know what the big deal is with 20" rims that they would want to steal spares, but oh well I knew this might happen when I leased the truck.

20" tires are worth some $$. They hit my old work in broad daylight and got the spares from all the Dodge trucks (like three or four).

The spares on those trucks are just the stamped steel rims correct? obviously the value is in the rubber...

Do they make locks to prevent that kind of thing? You would think someone would notice I guy out in the parking lot cranking a spare down from under trucks? Although we have a lot patrolled by security and monitored by cameras and my truck still got broken into so I guess...

Knowing Dodge, probably not, I'm just going to get another one, put it in my garage and when my lease is up then put it in the truck.

I'd be willing to bet that if you go to Connie and Son on 11 mile you can buy a replacement, and it'll probably be your old one.

Most of them can't take those trucks cuz of the computer chip keys.....but there is a few out there that know how to bypass that now. The worse that'll happen is you'll come out and it'll be sittin on blocks

Nope, if I get a flat, someone will just have to bring my spare out to me. I'm not going and stealing a new spare every 3-4 months when mine comes up missing.
