oh yeah ? that reminds me....
i know you guys aren't too fond of lapeer, but i got a drunk commitment from blwn327 to run his shit. but has to be after june. he likes to go to st ignace and drives it. worried about breaking an axle. thats why he won't go to the track.
he's dyno'ing like 500 rwhp. on a '95 gt
anyways....he will only go to lapeer cuz close for him.
so if your up to it when it's rollin.....keep it in mind.
i like to go w/ a few people.

i actually like it.
everything (which is really nothing) is all close.
the return road used to be bumpy as hell , but it's been 6 years since i've been there.
you can park right next to the bleachers , and that is just inside the gate.
no snack bar or anything...but i'd rather bbq my own food

lapeer isnt too bad. but thier track drying methods for rain are halarious. they take a tractor tire and drag it behind thier van. they do have a small snack bar/helmet rental/timeslip booth. overpriced stuff like always. can get lots of runs in. dirt lot. the only crap part is u NEED to wear a helmet no matter what time u run. which is for insurence reasons. i mean, even in my taurus if im racing something else they could loose control and slam into me. but does that mean i should wear a helmet everytime i drive?

Its better to have a helmet on and not need it, then to not have one on and get your skull crushed like a tomato

Yes, go out today and buy a helmet for yourself and put it on everytime you get behind the wheel.
