2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray Official Specs: 455 HP, 460 Lb-Ff of Torque

As the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray’s production gets underway, the American automaker has finally released final specifications on its newest sports car.

Powered by an all-new 6.2-liter LT1 V8 engine, the 2014 Corvette Stingray’s final figures have been announced with 455 hp and 460 lb-ft of torque. Its seven-speed manual transmission will have a final drive ratio of 3.42. The performance is a bit more than what was originally estimated: 450 hp and 450 lb-ft of torque.

You’ll note in some of the specifications, the estimated (est.) is still found next to the numbers, but it appears that the American automaker hasn’t updated those files yet. A formal press release wasn’t released by Chevrolet, but these PDFs surfaced on its media site.
