Jessica Simpson only looks good. She certainly can't act or sing. She DESTROYED the "These boots were made for walkin" song in the video (but she looked damn good doin' it - just need to turn the volume off). Overall, I think it will be a pretty decent flick, especially with Sean William Scott, and some other good casting. It'll be pretty difficult to duplicate (or top) Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane from the original series though.

I hope they don't screw it up. Everytime they try to remake a older film/show it ends up coimg out like crap.

The original Cooter is protesting the movie cause its got to much swearing and sexual tone to it, says it doesnt do justice to the wholesome family entertainment the the original was.
I say shut the fuck up, Cooter, its not the 70's anymore.

Thank god for that cuz I wouldn't be caught dead wearing bell-bottoms. But I can't wait to see the movie.......I know it will be nothing like the classic show but it will be fun to see what they can do to improve on the original.
