Exclamation Park location help needed...

I was wondering if any of you knew, off the top of your head, a park on the Eastside (Clinton Twp, Fraser, Sterling Heights, Roseville, North Warren, etc) that would have a LARGE fenced in area that is available for anyone to use.

I only ask because I want to take my dogs to a park and be able to let them off a leash and play. I have a fenced in yard at home, but with a pool and a garage back there, there's only so much room for them to play fetch in.

I'm not worried about taking Beans to a normal park (or even a dog park for that matter) without a leash, but with Diesel being an American Bulldog I don't feel 100% safe taking him to a busy park with other dogs and strangers around. Bully breeds tend to not be the greatest in an environment with other dogs...especially if that dog is male and not clipped while there are other unclipped male dogs around. They get very "territorial." I'd be an irresponsible bully breed owner if I took Diesel to a park and let him run free with others around.

So, I need a large fenced in field that I can take my dogs to. Spring is here and Beans needs to get into a leaner summer body. I am changing her food today to Kirkland. It has a lot higher protien count and and also better fats for muscle growth and more energy. Diesel is strong and lean now, but making him stronger, more muscular, and even leaner will only make him better. I need a large space to do that.

Any suggestions?

The only one I know of Al is for Saint Clair shores residents only and I am pretty sure all dogs must be kept on a lease. You are going to have a real hard time anywhere if you want too let them run loose!

Bastards!

I know Fraser HS has baseball feields that are fenced around the back of the field...but are they fenced all the way around?

HFII doesn't have their fields fenced in from what I remember...right?

There is a park (Washington Square) that has fenced in tennis courts down the street from my parent's house, but they aren't huge and they aren't grass. Plus I have no desire to run into my parents or brother.

Hmmmm...

Ford has all new diamonds that I do believe are fenced in and the track is fenced but there are two openings. I jog there quite a bit (not enough -lol) as I live soo close!

It's good to see that some people recognize this

There is a fenced in school yard north of Metro Parkway west of Groesbeck.
heading West on Metro Parkway, past Groesbeck is a condo complex (not sure of the name), turn right and I think the first street, left turn. You will see a school driveway on your right side.

That is a fenced in field I have taken my dog to at times. There is a paved oval track there.

The only dog park of that kind that i know if is at 12 and Vandyke and they have 6ft high fences surronding the entire area. But im pretty sure it requires some form of membership for its use. Plus there is always about 5+ dogs there everytime i drive by. That pretty much goes against what your going for lol

Amen! I especially like when I see directions written down witht he word "SHANER on them. I laugh a little every time I see that. I know the person reading the directions will never find their destination.
