Police Charger?
Today I was at Hungry Howies on 13 1/2 and Ryan and I saw a 06 Charger in the parking lot it had black rims and police spotlights on the windshield braces..... could is be a police charger or did someone like it this way?

I saw a marked one at Great lakes crossing... so i'm gonna go ahead and say that they make them in cop car form now?

Auburn Hills has a few Chargers..i know Madison Hgts has 1. Not sure if Warren does or not though

well i wouldnt want to be chased by the hemi ones they would have more of a chance than the next motor down, they usually have hemi badges and think they have a extra hood scoop on it too

Yea I think you are right about the hood scoops, but HEMI or no HEMI it is a dodge, whoops shoulden't have said that outloud. :-\

yes police are starting to get chargers at police cars now, hell they need something decent to replace the Caprices, the impalas and crown vics are just plain cutting. Most cops I've talked hate the Impalas, they complain how underpowered and how small they are. The Chargers will have all the good stuff, heavy duty suspension, bigger brakes, heavy duty cooling/eletrical system, and the Hemis will have a little more "punch" in them than the civil model. Just like the great caprice many cops miss, they will have a 6 cylinder and V8 model. The V8 model will be more popular naturally and there is talk that the 6.1 425hp Hemi put in special interceptor models.
So hopefully Dodge will do what Chevy did with the caprice and offer a police package charger.
