ive seen that website before..it kills me to see some of those. When i was in Alabama looking for a car i saw so many old Chevelle's, Camaro's, Mustangs, Etc.. just sittin out in field's. i would ask them if they were forsale and they would look at me like i was some dumbass and i need to get off their property..

Why can't those people just give up and sell their cars and give em a good home?

Default Cars in Barns

I got a few pics off that website. It is depressing to see how bad some of those cars are. I actually know where there is a Superbird sitting. Guy won't sell it cause he thinks he's gonna restore it. It'a a 440 car. No chance in getting it anyhow-his son already knows how much those things are worth!

There was a guy out at Woodward last year with a Superbird that was rusty, with a big "NOT FOR SALE" shoepolished on the back window. He said it was his dads car and it was parked for the past 30 years and he just got it running. Obviously it sat outside

I hate it when guys would rather let them rot than sell them to someone who would restore them!

Those are the guys that keep saying, "I'm in the process of restoring it, I just ran out of time/money" Always an excuse not to sell them.

They all sell eventually, my brother just got one thats been sitting for 12 years(67 Malibu), gotta remember, some of those cars arn't worth saving. A good hi-quality restoration takes a couple of years and 20-30K if its gonna be done right. I'd rather see on rot out and disappear, than to see some jackass steal the VIN and ID tags off of it and put them on another car and pass it off as original.
