O’FALLON, MO (February 13, 2011) - Classic Graphix has been a standout in the drag racing apparel business for 20 years.But its new venture will be a first for one of the recognized leaders in the industry.In a move that indicates a strong new partnership, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce that Classic Graphix, a family-owned and operated business, will be the Official Apparel and Uniform Supplier of the ADRL for 2011.Classic Graphix Owner will be in attendance at each event on the 2011 ADRL Tour, providing the apparel and also running the merchandise store, putting them in a unique and thrilling new position.“I’m excited about this venture and we’re thrilled to be working with the ADRL,” Classic Graphix Owner Scott Bathurst said. “I’ll be at the track with all the apparel we create for the series and it’s going to be wonderful.“It sounded very interesting to me and the ADRL schedule is a perfect fit for me. I think it will work out very well.”Based out of California, Classic Graphix has designed apparel for numerous teams in the ADRL, including Al-Anabi Racing, Pro Extreme drivers Frankie Taylor, Jason Scruggs and Terry Leggett, Pro Nitrous legend Charles Carpenter and many more.Classic Graphix is also the official apparel provider for Al-Anabi Racing, and its items will also be available at each ADRL race.Now, Bathurst and his company will be creating and designing all the apparel for the 2011 ADRL Tour, which begins on March 25-26 with CarSafe Dragpalooza VII presented by LenMar Motorsports at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas. Classic will create each official event t-shirt, along with all of the official apparel for the nation’s top 1/8-mile racing league.The company also will have a big presence on the ADRL website (

It will run the ADRL’s online store and offer its full line of ADRL apparel and merchandise with new items added frequently to the store.“We have years of experience of seeing what race fans like, and we’re all race fans here, too,” Bathurst said. “We watch what people are wearing and listen to what they want to be wearing. It’s going to be very interesting and everyone here is excited about this.” The family-owned business is also supplying all starting line and ADRL staff apparel, including official dress shirts and uniforms for ADRL employees. It will also be available to design official crew uniforms for ADRL teams.In addition, Classic Graphix will also be creating numerous novelty items with ADRL insignia, and Bathurst expects those to be a hit with fans.Being at the track for each national event will also help Bathurst develop items that interest the consumer.“We do all our screen printing at our facility, so we can get feedback from the fans at the races,” Bathurst said. “We can then come back and have that item at the next race if we choose.“It will be good for everyone.
