O’FALLON, MO (October 18, 2010) - The American Drag Racing League (ADRL) has announced a new interactive way for ADRL fans to predict world champions in all six classes with the “Battle For The Belts Ladder Bracket Contest” at
www.ADRL.us.For the first time in ADRL history, fans and other interested participants will now have the opportunity to compete against each other and pick and forecast winners in the upcoming Speedtech “Battle For The Belts,” which takes place Friday at the LenMar Motorsports ADRL World Finals VI at Texas Motorplex in Ennis, TX.Fans and contestants are invited to fill out their own brackets online in each of the six ADRL classes (Pro Extreme, Pro Nitrous, Extreme 10.5, Pro Extreme Motorcycle, Extreme Pro Stock and Pro Junior Dragster), predicting winners in each round and, ultimately, six world champions.To make their selections, everyone is invited to go to
www.ADRL.us and click on the “Battle For The Belts Ladder Bracket Contest” icon on the left side of the ADRL home page (which is directly above the “Battle For The Belts” section, and directly beside the “Big Head and Bret Show” icon).From there, simply enter the qualifying number of the person you expect to win (for example, Pro Extreme points leader Joshua Hernandez is No. 1) in each of the empty boxes until you have determined your champion in each class.After you have made all of your selections, fill out the pertinent information at the bottom of the page and submit your info to compete against other contestants.The deadline for the “Battle For The Belts Ladder Bracket Contest” will be 10 A.M. CST on Friday, which is just before eliminations are set to begin to determine world champions in all six ADRL classes.Points for correct picks will be tabulated at the conclusion of Friday’s must-see event at Texas Motorplex and winners for each class - and an overall winner - will be announced early next week.
