Default What size tire?

I need to know what size Slick I can run on my Stang. I will be buying Weld Drag lites so I will need to know what size rim I can run and what size tire to buy. Thanks for the help. Oh, its a 93 with the 4 bolt pattern.

I have a 5.5 backspace with 255/60/15's. Only rubs when I go up steep driveways. I would go with a 4.5 BS if you want them to stick out a little further...probably wouldn't rub with the 4.5 either.

Slick wise, a 26x10.5 or a 28x9 on a 15x8 rim would be a good starting point. I would say 26x10.5 since you have the automatic, that will keep your gear ratio the same. If you get to the point where you can launch at a higher rpm(trans brake and a really loose converter), then step up to the 28x9, or 28x10.5 on a 15x10rim(these require a little inner fender massaging with a hammer)
