F'in workmans comp !!!!!! kind of long!!!!

So as most know I have been off work due to my back injury, things are better but not great. So today I find out that they (insurance company) cancelled my comp. claim. Their reason was this was not a work related injury, HUH? I had a guy on the jobsite who witnessed what had happend, how in the hell can they do this? Those bastards are going to be seeing me in court, I'm not a sue happy person but now they are going to get a taste of their own medicine. Thankfully I'm am refinancing my house so I'll be able to pay my bills for a couple of months till I can return to work.

Anyone who has dealt with this with? Any suggestions on what to do from this point? Opinions are welcome please do not knock me for legal actions as this was not my original intent, I just want my life back to normal..

You didn't miss any doctors appts. did you? This would be one reason why they would do that. Otherwise I'd sue there asses!

i feel you bro........

motorcycle accident memorial weekend '04 left me out for 2 years (almost)
3 surgeries and a fused ankle later i am back to work though.

but get this.....supposedly after 1 year of state disability (i was living in cali at the time of the accident) you move over to social security disability.

i was denied twice , the last reason was that " although you may not be able to earn your previous wage, you are capable of earning wages that exceed 808.00 per month "

are you F@CKING kidding me ??? my house payment is more than that.....and i have 2 kids and a wife...(and an ex-wife taking her share) the system is total bull$hit unless your an immigrant, i am convinced of that.

to make matters worse, you can get absolutely no help whatsoever until you have depleted all your assests.

at the time i had about $120k in equity in my home and owned 3 cars.....all i wanted was some help to go back to school and learn a new trade. i had $hit cuz i busted my ass all my life....worked out of town for a premium wage (got to sleep in my own bed on weekends) and what did i get from our government ????? for paying taxes since i was 15 ?????

i am sorry to say that i don't see immediate help in your future...i really hate to say that.....but do what you can, and don't count on the government to help you at all. i am sorry to hear that you too are a victim of a failed government....inmates get better treatment than taxpayers.

Good news, my attorney said they are fucked. maybe I can have a golden opp. lol or at least make sure my bills are covered.
