Default Fox body paint opinion

Ok I have a 89 notch, no rust, original black car. I'm balls deep into it, almost ready to lay down some primer. I've already bumped every dent out big/small, re did the 1/4 window moldings, straigtend the door moldings, new seals/hinges/etc, like i said balls deep right now its basically a shell with wheels. Also shaved the antenna.

I was going to paint it solid black and do a limo tint to the windows. But now I am having second thoughts.

Now I am debating between a dark charcoal, very dark blue, black, or a two tone black/charcoal with black on top.

Only notes are I want to keep the pony wheels, or drag lites. It will have a 6 pt cage in it soon that will be black. and probably a 3" cowl. Tires will be about flush with the wheel lips

Any opinions???

Go black!!!!!! I debated this with my notch. It started life Maroon!!!...and I couldn't keep that. I looked at tons of pics online and when to car shows. No other color does it like black. I thought about sonic blue from the 03-04 Cobra. Good thing I didn't I saw a notch that was beautiful, and it didn't look good at all. Silver/charcoal doesn't do it either. If your bump work is good, go black. You can really pour the clearcoat on, and wetsand any/all orange peel and dust nibs, and it will be like glass!!!!

Default Black

Hi Nick take a look at my ads on members rides. I went with black also but added silver to it and more strips as I go but any way will give you general idea on what it will look like. Remember my car is not cleared yet.

Yea I think I will end up going with black. by far my favorite color, but everyone has a black car and I was kinda htinkin of doing something differant but eh fuck it

The kid thats painting it I told him to lay the clear on like no other, nothing better then a glass covering on a solid black paint job.

Trust me the bump work is good, every tiny little dent the size of a grain of sand was pulled/filled in. Only thing that isnt going to be so hot is underneath the ds door, the pinchweld is kinda caved in. I fixed the body line part of it but the pinch part is funny lookng. Not much i can do to fix that.
When I am done I will show off the gruesome before pictures. There were some bad dents in not so fun places. One thing that I'm not to happy about was the fact I ended up having to get a new ds door, fender and frnt cover. They are good but it bothers me they didnt come on the car.

Enough ramblin, time for bed. Thanks for the idears!
