I think they are an improvement over the previous gen, but the 4 cyl/vert combo is about the girliest you can do. Please tell me its at least a manual.
The V6/6speed/coupe combo is decent tho, mid/low 14's @ 100mph are pretty easily attainable.

Well alot of people SAY they can drive a manual, but lots of guys feel faggy if they admit that they cant,so they proclaim they are masters at it, but always buy automatics.
And I would not openly admit I bought a 4 cyl automatic convertible if i were him, esp a Mitsu.

I've got a snowmobile that has just as much power, and it's only a 3 cylinder engine.

I'll bet the Mitsu has better handling in the summer, though.

A few comments;
A) Once in everyone's life, you need to have at least one convertible. It does not matter if it's a Mustang or a Mitsu, you need to have a convertible.
B) It's a proven fact that automatics are more consistant in drag racing than a manual transmission. And that's what wins, consistantcy.
C) This guy just bought a new car he likes and you shot him down. Let him enjoy his ride. He is living Part A. I lived Part A with a '93 Geo Metro with a five speed.
D) Not every car on the street is a race car. Nor should it be.
E) That Mitsu is a nice car. I would prefer a manual and a 6 cylinder to the 4-speed auto, but it's not my car and I don't have to drive it. As long as the guy who bought is happy, that's all that matters.

But its also a proven fact that a car with 126hp isnt a drag car... plus manuals are just soooooo much more fun to drive
But all in all, if he is happy with it and thats the car he wants then good for him.

The more I drive my automatic car, the more I like it!
After I had it reprogrammed, the only time the auto gets in the way is that it doesn't know when to downshift until I hit the gas.. any other situation it shifts about the same as I would if I was doing it..
All my previous cars/trucks have been manuals.. so this was something new for me too.

Well here let me make the situation all the worse, true it is NOT a race car nor is his other eclipse but he thinks they are and he has a bulit girll on the other one and tries to say it was an intercooler .... when I asked for the hood to be popped I was told he had to go hmmm.. also... this is the bad part he is 20 yrs old, and has gotten the mustang and both eclipses in the past year, his Daddy paid for all 3 at 20 yrs old. he paid nothing.... and thats 3 votes on THE VERDICT IS IN... !!!
