Default Love it but Hate it

I ordered parts from Summit on Tues. All was in stock and I should have it by Thurs. I get home last night and there is a call from Summit order services. So i called to see what the hell is wrong, they tell me that they just need to confirm my order before they could ship it because of the $ value. I was like what the hell I ordered it on Tues. why are you just calling me on Thrusday night. She said they were busy and so on ............. I told them I was expecting my parts for the weekend and now they screwed that up. I told her I want the security but damn I want my parts. So now I know I ordered my parts but I can't have them till Mon. I'm going out of town till Fri. and to busy next weekend to finish my car until hell I don't know. I'm all for security but damn 2 days to confirm my order!!!!!!!! Just had to rant.

damn ive never had a problem like that and ive dropped quite alot of money on single orders through summit..weird

Damn there not usually like that, UPS guy drives right down to the barn with the parts a couple of days later. He's been there enough he goes right to the fridge to get a cold pop and hangs a bit to bs and see what we got. Soory to hear that.

Summit has always been pretty good when I've ordered too.

What did you order that was so valuable? When I order my heads ($1300) from them they never call to confirm jack. UPS left them on the porch too

This was the first time I had this problem. They said it was because of the $ amount, but this was the frist time I used this credit card. I love the security part just wished they would have called sooner. The $ was less than $2,500. Yes I have some testing to do when the track opens any volunters.

I have never had a problem with Summit Either, I order from them alot when I cannot get things locally that I need. I am always amazed at how fast I get my order delivered. If I order by noon on one day and I almost always have it at my door the very next day, It is awesome!

But with my Chevelle I get most (specific hard to get) stuff from Cars, Year one, etc... They take way longer than Summit ever has. Summit is in Ohio so us in the Metro Detroit area it is a 1 day ship point.
