UBLY HEAD COUNT...POST UP
LETS GET UGLY IN UBLY
JULY 16TH. Heres the lowdown. Test-n-tune is from 2pm till 8pm, so even those who have to work in the morning can still make it. Although this is a Drag event, we will still have food and beverages available, basically a typical DetroitRacing get together. Everyone is invited, even if youre only spectatin'. Bring your camera's and shoot the action. Im sure there will be some great runs and match ups.
We will also be shooting cars for the website and upcoming calander. Several girls have volunteered to model with the cars for the calendar, so even if youre not gonna race, bring your car. The girls would also like to ride along on a few passes, so make sure your passenger seats are in.
Tell your friends, get the word out, post this on other local sites, lets make a party out of it.
There is no cost other than what Ubly normally charges for Test-n-tune, although memberships will be available{includes DR tee shirt, and a pair of decals}, tees and decals will be available seperately.
And guys, respect for the girls doing the calendar shoot will go along way in producing some great shots, so show some class,

I'll be bringing my camera and laptop so we will have some great high res pics of the cars and the cars with the girls. I'll also have my video camera for another great video! We'll be BBQ'ing and I have a ton of leftover beer and liquor (for the poeple who aren't racing of course). Definitely going to be a fun day!

Really only 2 ways to go
1. Gratiot or I94 to M19 in NewHaven(26 mile). M19 thru Richmond, north of I69 to Sandusky, turn left(west) on to M19/M46, drive to where M19 goes north again, drive to Ubly
2. Take M53(VanDyke) north of Marlett, rt on M46 to M19 north, north to Ubly.
I almost alway go the first route, and stop at the Mickey D's in Sandusky for Breakfast/lunch, then make the final run to Ubly, get there early, set up, and chill for while till they start the TnT
We can meet at my house to caravan up, get some breakfast, and hit the road.

I always take the first way up too. It usually takes me about 1 - 1 1/2 hours to get there...but it's a really nice drive.
I'm down for meeting up wherever...just let me know.

For Lisa, it should only take 1 1/2 hours, for those of us driving the speed limit, it should take a little over 2 hours. Ubly is in the upper portion of the thumb, south of Bad Axe, about 40 miles east of Bay City
If you can hop a ride, come on out and watch, ask anybody that made it to the Gratiot cruise, or the Fireworks, you dont need to have a car to have a blast.

You would be on the freeway from your house to 26 mile, or you could take Gratiot all the way up..

I'll be there. I'm coming from Dexeter so I have NO idea what is the best way, plus because its far from the house the stang will ride the trailer. I will have room in the truck if anybody wants a ride or needs me to haul anything.
