FOX 11 news came out they said they heard that santa was drag racing the sleigh we told them that we represented the brotherhood of street racers and that we were trying to get brotherhood raceway opened and they said they had heard something about it and wanted to know what was taking so long... they got some film and it will be on the channel 11 news tonight at 10:00 pm they only filmed some imports racing because it was too crowded for the big boys to show off but hey at least out event got publicity due to there being over 400 people out here it was too hard for the fast cars to do anything but they are still here and they are gonna get down tonight no less than 20 trailered cars and still a few cars sitting at shops waiting to be saddled up wish we would have not broke the strawberry mustang, black offered us 7 and the go against one of his drag bikes but we couldnt step up to the plate.. will broke his luv truck also and kevin broke the grand national and at least 1/2 a dozen others broke testing last night along with x breaking the turbo 4 cyl street car mark washington, muff, and speedy all came out of retirement for this.... we wish we had our track, christmas would be crakin all day and night because we could control the crowd.........

Didn't stay long enough to catch the FOX 11 crew. I bounced shortly after Mr Po-Po came through and scattered the crowd. I'm thinkin' about doubling back down there now to catch the night action--it'll probably be a lot hotter than the couple'a few races that got off this morhing. It was nice to see all my LA homies on the holiday though. For you guys back East, here's a 'lil look at how LA gets down on Christmas Day.

Sorry about that watermark...it's supposed to say: "Merry Christmas from the Streets of LA."

It worked out to your advantage......let the Imports show off and act a fool for the cameras! Let the media use old footage of wrecked imports and two honda's flyin' down the street!!! Keep those true to the culture(not posers)out of the spot light, and ya'll got to remember STOP DOIN' FOX NEWS STORIES WITH INTERVEIWS!!!! They use that sh*t against you down the road, you know how many video tapes i got of old cali Fox News reports diss'n street racers and showin' old ass footage OVER & OVER & OVER!!!!I know you guys want Terminal Island open, and it would seem smart to let people know during a interview.....but,it always comes back making that person look like a fool!!!Im glad Fox didnt get any of the heavy hitters on tape!! Be safe out there,Joe-Brotherhood member(midwest)

This is not the first time we have had support from the media. They agreed not to name the street and to name the area closest to where it happens. When Joe public is informed correctly and gets behind us, stupid councilman cannot pass laws where it is a crime to watch let alone race and that they can option to crush your car if sized. If Joe public was behind us Gov Arnold would not pass a law making it a felony just to watch let alone race. More people die from drunk drivers than street racers, yet drunk drivers face less penalties, we need to inform the public that there is a solution other than laws that don't work and ruin young peoples lives.

If it were not for the support from the Los Angeles Times and Fox 11, Terminal Island would have had a harder time opening the past 11 times. They are the only two News media willing to do a story on not having a place to race. All the heavy hitters would not unload their cars due to it being unsafe. Too many people, to hard to control a crowd. People have died in the past because someone pulled out during a race. The cops came out and told us as long as nobody dies, they would not be back till dark, if someone dies, they would be back and they would be pissed. As soon as the sun set the Cops came along with the Highway Patrol keeping true to their word. The heavy hitters were going to race as soon as the crowds got smaller but could not get a race off due to the cops. The cool thing is nobody got arrested even though they could have made an example out of any one of us. The cops are inform and know the solution and support the Brotherhood. The head of the police department even wrote a letter to the mayor regarding the fact crime goes down when Terminal Island is open. So since most of the cops are informed they support us indirectly. The news media made sure not to show the cops letting us go on doing our thing, they made sure not to involve the cops in the story at all.
