Detroit Street Cars
Dear Detroit Street Cars Representative,
As you and your fellow cruisers gear up for this year’s Woodward Dream Cruise we would like to explore with your group another high-profile opportunity for showcasing your members’ vehicles while uniting with our organization.
As you are likely aware, the MotorCities National Heritage area is organizing “Cruisin’ Motor Cities,” a week of automotive events in downtown Detroit leading up to the Dream Cruise. Thursday August 14th will, in fact, be “Woodward Dream Cruise Day” at the afternoon Tigers game at Comerica Park, followed by an afternoon and evening of cars and live music, adjacent to the ballpark near Grand Circus Park and the Detroit Opera House.
There is an opportunity to display between 100 and 300 classic cruisers along Madison Avenue, which will be closed for concert, street festival and fundraiser to benefit the Riverfront Conservency.
We are hopeful your Association will accept our invitation to join with us and participate in this first-ever downtown Woodward Dream Cruise celebration.
We look forward to your thoughts.
Warm regards,
<removed>
