Kevin Bealko is ready to make an even bigger impact in the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) and the Extreme Pro Stock (XPS) class in 2011, and he’s ready to do it in a sharp new 2011 GXP.Built by Jerry Haas Race Cars and continuing his relationship with Sonny’s Racing Engines, Coan Engineering and Dambest Carbs, Bealko is hoping to become a strong contender in one of the most competitive classes in the ADRL.“The Black Diamond Motorsports team has really stepped up its efforts in the XPS class of the ADRL with the delivery of this new GXP,” Bealko said. Bealko will be a regular on the 2011 ADRL Tour, which starts March 25-26 at Royal Purple Raceway in Baytown, Texas.Bealko also expects the car to progress a great deal, which should allow for a better showing in 2011. His GXP was the only automatic equipped XPS car last season in the class, but his team continues to upgrade their chassis program. In addition, they have also updated their engine and transmission programs to make the team even stronger.Bealko knows the difficulty in making a dent in the field and he hopes the extensive measures he and his team have utilized will make a difference in 2011. “The pressure to find a competitive edge in racing is intense, with the slightest design modification capable of shaving crucial time off of each run,” Bealko said.Bealko is also excited about the 2011 ADRL schedule, which includes nine stops at a variety of exciting locations, several of which are close to Bealko’s Bridgeport, West Virginia home.“Our race team has enjoyed continued success with our racing program because of the help from the people involved with these companies and the venue that the ADRL presents to us,” Bealko said. “We are very excited for 2011.”More information can be found at
