While late-model power conversions (LS-motors, Gen III Hemis and modular Fords into classics) aren't usually received well here on Street Legal TV, we really wanted to show you all what your friends at Holley are cooking up. Starting with this '67 Chevrolet pickup, Holley's goin' vintage shop truck with a factory paint scheme and hand lettered door signage with old school Holley logos. While too pretty and way too big budget to be considered a rat rod, this is a great throw back custom with a lot of neat little cues.

The truck is being built at the world famous SoCal Speed Shop and is the recipient of a whole lot of TLC. A custom set of big diameter 6–lug wheels get the stance right while 480-horsepower, hot cammed LS3 cleverly disguised as a vintage big block - backed by a Tremec TKO600 5-speed gearbox makes this truck haul. A set of big Baer binders brings the whole thing to a halt. Of course, there's a reason behind all this madness as this Holley Shop Truck will serve as a test bed for LS swap parts and other new products for the manufacturer.
SoCal Speed Shop's Jimmy Shine shows off one of the wheel centers for Holley's project '67 Chevy pickup. Holley CEO Tom Tomlinson asked SoCal to recreate some vintage Indy Roadster wheels in modern sizes for the unique truck. So SoCal turned to Curtis Speed Wheels to build the wheels which turned out great!
