Default Racepak To Offer Contingency, Named Official Sponsor For 2011 ADRL Tour

O’FALLON, MO. (December 16, 2010) - In an exciting move for both parties, the American Drag Racing League (ADRL) is pleased to announce that Racepak Data Systems will be a contingency sponsor for the first time in 2011.The agreement was finalized during the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show last weekend in Orlando.Racepak had previously been involved with the ADRL, but 2011 will mark the first time that the Professional Motorsports Data Acquisition Systems company is on board as an official ADRL sponsor.Furthering the exciting news, Racepak also will offer contingency for its new Smartwire Power Control Module for the 2011 season.“We’re absolutely thrilled to be on board for 2011,” Racepak General Manager Roger Conley said. “We’ve been growing with the ADRL and we’re going to be even more involved this year.”The good news doesn’t stop there between the two companies, either. In addition to the sponsorship and contingency, Racepak will have a factory tech support representative at each of the nine national events on the ADRL’s 2011 Tour schedule. The series of announcements are another sign of the relationship that has been built and developed between Racepak and the nation’s premier eighth-mile drag racing league.“That’s pretty huge,” Conley said of having a factory tech support representative at each race. “We have a strong following of racers at ADRL events and we want to support them.” The ADRL will start its seventh season on March 25-26 in Baytown, Texas and the nine national events will run through October.Having Racepak on board in this capacity is also an exciting development for ADRL Vice President of Sales and Marketing Brian Evans.“It has been great to see this relationship grow and we see nothing but great things in the future working with Racepak,” Evans said.“More importantly, this is a move that will only continue to benefit our amazing racers. Racepak produces such innovative products and I truly believe their new Smartwire Power Control Module will be very highly-received with our racers.”Conley is ecstatic to offer contingency on the new Smartwire module as well, in part because of the reaction he expects to get from the product.Conley and the company heard nothing but rave reviews about the device that essentially functions as a command center for every vehicle’s wiring at the PRI show, and he can’t wait for ADRL racers to debut the product in 2011.“It’s going to be a revolutionary product in the ADRL. It’s a complete wiring solution for racing vehicles,” Conley said.“This product uses state-of-the-art technology to eliminate mechanical electronic control devices. It’s a great thing for ADRL racers and it’s a great opportunity for Racepak to be involved with this group.”
