Psyco Diver 69 I need rep points!
Default Put my new hood on today

I've been out working on my 442 all day unbolting everything and getting anything else ready for when I pull the motor out which I planned to do, but something came up and now I won't get the chance most likely. I pulled the hood off myself which wasn't exactly easy but I managed without damaging anything, gotta say I'm glad I'm in good shape because that hood is big and weighs like 120lbs. Anyways heres some pictures, I still need the lighter hood springs and the hood clips but you'll get the idea:

Looks good, who'd you get it from, again? What do you think about the overall fit/finish. Fiberglass always needs some work, but does it sit right?

Thats a complete hood, with the air box molded to the underside, right?

I got it from GlassTek, they put their hoods up on ebay thats where I got mine. So far it looks good, it looks like I need to trim a few of my rubber hood bumpers. I havn't put on the moldings from my old hood but it seems to fit pretty well, I'm happy. Yes it has the molded in air box. I can't wait till I get my new hood springs in and hood clips then I can fit it better but when I put it on it had a pretty even gap and it was big gas, if pretty much fit the same as my old steel hood
