Real motor is finally in for good. All the plumbing is done other than boost/vacuum lines and trans cooler/ lines, but we're probably a week or less from firing this thing finally. Then it's just the little nickel and dime shit to get wrapped up. But there is light at the end of the tunnel!!!

Looks awesome JD. I have to believe that having both of thoose race cars in there makes you want to work on yer ride??? One question why didnt you wait for the new motorplate? Looks like a lot of stuff to undo to swap it.

I can't WAIT to get my car back home. You have NO idea!!!!!

As far as the plate, I was hoping we could fire this thing before I had the new plate and it's really easy to change out, probably a half hour tops.

The thing I have been dreading the most and putting off is cutting the carpet around all the bars in the floor. I HATE fitting carpet, I don't have the patience for it at all.

Well yesterday was a good day despite the shitty weather. It fired up with no issues at all other than a trans line seeping at the cooler a little bit. Tightened her up and good to go. Sounds pretty fucking mean with the 5 inch downpipe, the video doesn't do it justice at all. Hopefully it runs as good as it sounds!!

And this is what happened after a few celebratory cocktails and thinking that putting it on the 2-step at 2000 rpm was a good idea.

Then I had to explain to my son that even though it looks like putting your hand in the spinning turbo would be a lot of fun, it would turn his shit to hamburger with a quickness!! He kept eyeballing it and I could just tell what was going through his mind.
