I broke a rod bolt in my brand spanking new engine after 2 hits last season.
Sold everything I could find and it's back better than ever. Life goes on.
Fix the bitch.

LMFAO at this thread!!!
Not laughing at anybody, just glad I'm not the only one that struggles with this stupid hobby!! We haven't had anything break but still dealing with the stupid issues that pop up.
One example: This McClaren I'm putting together, the owner had one of those flexible lokar trans dipsticks that just push in the trans and aren't held in with anything but friction on the o-ring. I suggested getting a solid tube that actually bolts in. Well in the meantime, I get the motor/trans in, along with the turbo kit on, etc. I finally get the dipstick tube from him and between the motor being so far back and the midplate being in the way, I couldn't get the fucking tube in. I had to pull the headers and pull the motor/trans assy forward just to get the fucking dipstick in. Wasn't a huge deal but what a PITA, going backwards, just to get a dipstick tube in.
There has been a couple other minor issues but I guess that's pretty good compared to what some of you guys are going through.
