This kinda reminds me of the long time Washington DC mayor, Marion Barry, who got busted in an FBI sting for using/distributing crack cocaine back in the early '90's. After spending a 1/2 year in jail, when he got out, the city actually re-elected his worthless ass.

I think since the city of Detroit gets to tax my income since I work down here in this shit hole, I should have gotten to vote.

Well since they have their thug mayor I don't wanna hear hoe the suburbs should help pay for the redo of Cobo Hall or any other crap down there. I only go to the city for the Autorama and occasionally a hockey game if I get free tickets. Fuck detroit!
