So this is good. Is this where someone was telling me when i work out my legs it releases something that makes me grow? I'm not sure of all the technical jargin he was using, but he said something like "the bigger your legs, the bigger your upper body will become" He said think of your body like a tree. The bigger the trunk the bigger the branches.

YEAH...in a sense. You release MORE GH (growth hormone) into the body. Training legs is a big part of putting size on the upper body.
Think of your body as a BIG lake. Throw a pebble in the lake and if make little waves...(training biceps for example)...throw a HUGE rock in the lake and get big waves (training legs). Your biceps are a small muscle compared to your legs. The effect the whole body gets from hard leg work is more than a hard bicep workout

gotcha, gotcha...makes sense now. So what your saying is I need to quit being a slacker and start working my legs harder

I slack on my legs a little only do them kinda light not to the point I do my arms to. because my job requires me to climb and i didn't want to be that sore, but i guess i can do them on friday evening giving me two days to heal up.

Same here. People (not in the know) look at me like I am crazy when I tell them I am currently 230+ lbs. People hear 230lbs and they picture someone twice my size.

Till you throw on your camo hunting hat, flannel shirt, and you chase them into the woods with your shotgun.

At my gym we call those people "The Resolutioners". A group that does this every year and basically drops out but still pays their dues. So in essence they pay for the rest of us to have a nice gym, but don't use its services.
