On the tube he also has an interview where he talks about steroids and that its really cheating.

He is either one of two things, using fake weights in those lifts or is on loads of the gear and near dissaster.

I know guys that are bad to the bone, 300lb slabs of muscle that don't bench 600lb or squat 700lb.

I just wanted a deadlift video. The bar simply can't hold any more plates and he does it almost without effort. Just stands right up.

I have to think its BS and some of the plates are less weight or fake. I suppose its not impossible, but he would be shattering records in power lifting if this were the case.

That was an "ASS TO GRASS" squat, too. Clean. My buddy Paulie, who's a powerlifter, has done 1085+ lbs in a clean squat.

Pointless!!

But, on a nicer note that bar was about to fuckin break!!! WOW! Those guys would have seriously gotten hurt if that happened.

Agreed. I saw no stray or flex on their parts.

OK...............
I HAVE TO JUMP IN HERE...dont go goo-goo over a 1 rep 765 squat. OK...powerlifting is a LOT of technique and TENDON strength. I know guys WHO LOOK like they can squat a house but put 405 on them and they crumble and THEN I see guys who dont look the part and make 700 look like a walk in the park.
Back the video....the side spotters arent doing shit...(more of a safety item) the REAR spotter DOES pull him out of the hole. ALSO...he does what we call a "pop squat". Granted 765 is a lot of weight...but I 500 with no belt and 650 with a pop squat..(dropping in the hole and sorta bouncing out) and I DONT do a lot of 1 rep motions.
The guy is strong granted...but Iam not to impressed but that is me.

Yeah I'm getting back in the deal for the past year working back into form so I'm a little disconnected from things. I haven't squated much heavier than 285-315 in that time, so I can't identify with that much weight.
