Default INTENSITY

So for the last couple of weeks I kinda hit a roadblock in my lifting. I just couldn't get that good sore feeling after I lifted. It felt like I wasn't doing any work, and I havent been losing any weight.


Well that all changed on Monday. Monday I did chest, and I'm still sore this morning. I did back yesterday and holy crap its on fire this morning. I just figured out that I'm going to have to use the machines a little more, since I lift by myself. That way I can really up the weight, and the intensity. I find the more I lift, the harder I have to push myself to see gains. Is that the case for you guys as well?

O and I renewed the gym memebership yesterday.

I did Al's and LittleMags "skull crushers" that they recommended to me. I did them one Sunday, and I felt them stabbing me until Wednesday. I always feel those because they kil me. I start to get used to bicep, and chest stuff really fast. I increased the weight and I felt sore again. I could do the same reps and sets, so I knew I had gained strength.

Keep renewing that membership and keep striving to get to your goals every month!!!

I don't get sore unless I am walking out of the gym miserable and barely able to move.

So yeah, I have to really punish myself to make any gains.

Good to know I'm not the only one that has to push it to the limits to get that feeling.

First day back this morning, SUCKED. I am not a mrning lifter at all. felt sick. I cant wait to get back to my normal time tomorrow.

I hate lifting in the morning. I am always significantly weaker when I try and lift early in the AM. Cardio...ok. Lifting, no.

I've only lifted in the A.M. Late morning though, like 9/10. I like it. I have more energy, plus I guess its what I am use too.
