blk00rt I need rep points!
Default bucking on deceleration

alright, took the new 408 out to put some miles on it before the Dakota RT nationals and it bucks on decel at 2500 rpms. Not sure if it is fuel system related or drivetrain. It only does it when driving, there is no miss or anything when I rev it in neutral.
How does one tell if the fuel system is cavetating?
Fuel system is stock tank to 8 an lines to 100 micron fuel filter to aeromotive A1000 pump to 8 an 10 micron fuel filter to modified stock rails to aeromotive regulator to 6 an return lines.
pressure is set to 50 psi, on gauge at regulator
Is there a way to tell if it is torque converter related?
I have a ms 2800 torque converter installed that is new since the engine swap.
Any other ideas?

Maybe the converter is staying locked up?

completely off the throttle or is it very light cruise.
I had to pull timing out of my car cause it would surge at very light load and throttle

when the throttle is on it runs just fine. If I take my foot off the gas and let it coast, the bucking happens.

turns out it was a lean popping condition causing the bucking. I put in 24 lbs injectors and no more bucking...Might have to go bigger once the computer learns but the AF gauge will tell me that.
