Replacing the output shaft requires total disasembly of the transmission. If you have never done it before, I would recommend either having it done, or getting the Turbo 350 book that is available(Ramchargers??) and using a digital camera to record the steps. you will need a big clean area to disassemble. Keep everything in order as it comes out, then reverse the process when reassembling. You may need a few special tools also.
I assume the kit comes with a new tailshaft housing for mounting the torque arm to.
If youre going this far into the trans, now is the time to replace the clutches and steels, and the weak bushings with bearings.
