When it comes to muscle car history, it is easy to forget about tires. One of them, however, has been around since near the beginning - the BFGoodrich Radial T/A. Indeed, the Radial T/A has starred in a number of movies and TV shows, has been a mainstay at hundreds of major motorsport series events and was instrumental in numerous speed record runs.

To help celebrate its 40th Anniversary, Michelin North America has developed a special BFGoodrich Radial T/A Redline Edition tire for a new project car first appearing at the NSRA Nationals in Louisville, Ky.
"The legendary performance heritage of the BFGoodrich Radial T/A tire is simply one of a kind," commented Richard Winchester, a BFGoodrich Tires employee of more than 40 years and original 'Team T/A' member.
During the past 40 years, the Radial T/A has contributed to a variety of looks. From the early pony cars into the custom van movement in the mid-1970s and the ultra-low profile look of today, BFGoodrich has delivered a Radial T/A tire for what the market is looking for.
BFGoodrich has also teamed up with Hurst Performance Vehicles and TeamBFG member Kyle Tucker’s Detroit Speed and Engineering to introduce the new Hurst Redline Camaro Series. The 2010 Hurst Redline Camaro, featuring BFGoodrich Radial T/A Spec Redline Edition tires, will be on tour throughout the summer and will be making stops at various Goodguys Tour events and finally in Las Vegas for the 2010 SEMA show.
