1978 Olds Cutlass
We bought it all stock for $800. Use to be a Grandmother's car and we bought it as-is no motor for $800. Then, took us 2 years to build.
Engine (Basic Info): 327 SBC .30 over, 9:5:1 Compression with 250 Shot of spray. Should be a low 10 sec. car. 12-bolt rear end with 4.56's and mini spool. Here's a few pic's:
Hopefully it can be Ride of The Month...

G-bodies make good race cars. Let us know how it runs. Also, have you weighed it yet? I'm going to build a g-body regal to replace my camaro.

Not right away, I dig the camaro. I've always wanted a GN though, this next one will be a single turbo LS1 GN.
I'm an old man, I need an older car.

Yes, they make Great! race cars, and the suspension's are good-cooperating. Have not weighed it yet. We have tooken out 400-500 lbs since we got it. One word of advice, buy adjustable shocks (Competition engineering), and adjustable upper and lower control arms. All of this should cost around $350-$450. W have not got the control arms yet. We will SOON though. It is HOOKING hard, too. With 4.56's and good slicks, it digs grooves in the sides of our tires because of digging in the quarter panels. We'll post up the run times when we finally get it out!

Update (Bad News). We bought new valve covers and braided fuel line Friday, started it up and it wasn't wanting to run. Did a compression test, and 1 cylinder showed up 147 lbs and the second cylinder showed up 27 lbs. So we yanked the head and it had a blown head gasket. When we built the motor we had plans for pump gas, just a 9:5:1 motor, but the heads we have are steel (probably can flow better than some alum. heads) and now we have to run Cam 2, so now it will have 11:2:1 comp. But we'll get some pics later this week.
