Default Sodium intake... How much is too much..

Now, I dont eat alot of foods with salt, and I never really add any, but like right now IM munching on a small bag of combos and it says 1 serving, 790mg.

What should you look out for as far as sodium??

Drink loooooots of water. Due to working at a desk all day I have to munch on beef jerky, which is pretty high in sodium. Drink lots of water to wash it out.

My girlfriend is 1 semester away from a Bachelors in Dietetics. She stopped because she got into the Nursing Program at MSU...anyways she was always told 2000mg or less per day.

I also saw some health lady on the news that said less than 2500mg per day.

Either way that gives you a ball park, and Al is right about the water. That pushes a lot of it out and water also helps burn fat.

This customer of mine just became diabetic. He almost died,so the hospital told him. They said his sugar intake is too high......The first time I saw him after his hospital stay, he said before all that happened, he drank 10 20oz. regular Pepsis per day....if it was really hot...15 20 oz.

That is crazy!! I drink 1 or 2 20z. per WEEK!! Good thing you go with Diet...no sugar.

Lots of sodium. Speaking of which, time to grab a few pieces.
