Curiousity on Nitrous
I'm bored and just sitting here thinking......What if I were to add a Nitrous Express wet kit to my s/c Cobra?
If my injectors were close to being at full duty, would I need need to up the injector size? Same question about the fuel pumps?
The nozzle would go in right before the TB right? Between the TB and the S/c? Is fuel added here as well?
What impact would this have on a/f and such? I know it would need to be tuned and I know that nitrous would cool my inlet charge.....so how would this effect the tune? Would it need to be richened up when using the nitrous, timing pulled out?
This would be a 35 to 50 shot.
We haven't had much tech in ahwile so I figured I'd just post this here.

lol this would be a question to ask lidio lol yes you would need to retune it and have a dual tune one with the N2O and one without but a wet system adds fuel and nitrous usually before the tb a dry system only adds N2O...why dont u just use an alky system like snow performance? its a little cheaper and its like running race gas and no chance of blowing off your intake from pooling fuel lol

Definitely have to pull some timing with the spray. If you ran a dry kit you would have to be adding fuel with the injectors, which if they were nearly maxed out already would mean bigger injectors. If you ran a wet kit your pump just has to be able to handle it but your injectors would be in the clear as the extra fuel you would need would be coming in with the nitrous.

If you go with a wet kit you should be fine but I would go with a flip chip tune for the bottle.
Yes the nozzle will go into the discharge tube near the TB.
I always loved the bang for the buck of Nitrous, you flat out cannot beat it. But having to fill that stupid bottle for $40.00 a hit every time became a PITA.

Good feedback guys.
Ya, I know I would need a flip-chip.
GTrackd, I will let you know if I'm interested.....like I said, right now just thinking.
My thinking is the nitrous would act both as an intercooler AND increase TQ.
The snow kit would cool the charge, and with methonal it would add to the octane rating of the fuel....but I don't think I'd get much if any HP or TQ. My car is basically tuned for race gas right now.
