you can get steves backroom from kroger and meijer now, spent the weekend about 2 weeks ago in grand haven on lake MI....they had it there too at meijer.

pretty good , but i've never eaten at the restaurant....although i have heard good about it.

the grape leaves are a little drier than you'd like...but somehow addicting, and they have a great feta and broc pie in phyllo dough

the only problem with the store package stuff is that they leave things out because it has no shelf life. Touboli is supposed to have a lemon/oil dressing, but it goes bad after a few days, so Steve's just leaves it out.

Ive definitely had better food than Beirut Palace(CedarLand in Dearborn is very good), but they do have the Hukas' if you want one. The lady that does the cooking at Beeblos has worked at Lashish,CedarLand, and a couple other middle eastern restaurants in the Dearborn area, she decided to open her own deli because she wanted the food to be fresh, not premaid and stored in a fridge or freezer for a week.
