We fight with those who say, "All the good cars are all bought up, restored or destroyed." These are the same people who abandon hope of a 440-powered '69 Coronet R/T and opt for a '77 Cordoba with rich Corinthian leather. The reality is that A) there's plenty of cool cars around (even if you have to make a clone R/T out of a plain-Jane Coronet) and B) Cordobas just aren't cool. Unfortunately, these naysayers are a
little right when they say all the good cars are destroyed. Well, not
destroyed per se, but in dire need of some TLC.
We found this video taken at a private junkyard in Northern Virginia. Filmed over Thanksgiving Weekend a couple years ago, the filmmaker says that none of the cars are for sale and asks that views respect the owner's privacy, so please don't ask for the location. The problem is that it is evident that the owner hasn't the means or the drive to restore the GTOs, Chargers, Cyclones, and Super Bees he has in his dilapidated collection. Rather, he's a hoarder and doing as much damage to these cars as those crazy ladies on TV who stockpile their homes full of cats.
