Be Cool Inc. is helping celebrate the first ever "Collector Car Appreciation Day" by hosting the Be Cool Car Show and Power Cruise July 9th and 10th in Bay City, Michigan, with all proceeds going to The American Cancer Society. For those unaware, the US Senate declared the second Friday in July as a national holiday (sort of), "Collector Car Appreciation Day;" as a "means to raise awareness of the vital role automotive restoration and collection plays in American society."
“We are pleased that our elected officials have acknowledged the positive presence that the automotive industry has in local communities,” said Roger Rosebush, CEO of Be Cool Inc. “We’re looking forward to the
Be Cool Car Show and Power Cruise where thousands of people will be able to demonstrate their love of automobiles. The event is going to be even more important knowing that car-lovers across the country are celebrating as well."
The Be Cool Car Show and Power Cruise is one of hundreds taking place on or around July 9, 2010, and will include more than 400 registered vehicles, including the fabulous muscle car collection of Be Cool Inc. Admission is free, so bring the family.
“Car collection is a unique American pastime and it’s played an integral role in our society” said Roger Rosebush. “The Senate Resolution and the events taking place all over the country are testaments to the importance and passion in this industry.”
