ORLANDO, FL (December 9, 2010) - The highly-anticipated release for American Drag Racing League (ADRL) racing dates in 2011 will be over on Friday.The ADRL announced on Thursday that it will release its schedule for the 2011 season at 5 p.m. EST on Friday at the Performance Racing Industry (PRI) Trade Show in Orlando, FL.The announcement will come during the annual trade show at the ADRL booth, which is No. 609 at the Orlando Convention Center.Included in Friday’s release will be names, dates and locations for the 2011 ADRL Tour, which will again feature the top doorslammer action in the world. It will also feature some surprises and new destinations for the 2011 season.“I know everyone will be excited about the track partners that are going to be involved with the ADRL in 2011,” ADRL Executive Vice President Jeff Fortune said. “The schedule will include some of our great tracks and supporters from previous years, as well as some exciting new tracks in some incredible markets.”The seventh ADRL season is scheduled to start at its traditional location, as Universal Technical Institute ADRL Dragpalooza VII presented by Safety-Kleen will take place March 25-26 at Royal Purple Raceway (formerly Houston Raceway Park) in Baytown, Texas.The previous night, the ADRL will hold its annual Racers Appreciation at Awards Gala at the Tower Club at Royal Purple Raceway.The full schedule will run from March through October and will include locations throughout the United States in some of the nation’s biggest markets.
