If you weren’t able to make it out to the recent Ridetech Midwest Muscle Car Muscle Challenge, don’t fret, because over the course of the weekend the great folks at Ridetech filmed and put together this really great video that practically puts you right into the thick of all the action and fun that was enjoyed by all the last weekend in May. We spotted this video over at
Spectre Performance, who's green-and-white-striped 2nd Generation Camaro was put through the paces among the ranks of Mopars, Fords, and GM vehicles both young and old.

The Midwest Muscle Car Challenge was part of a very busy summer for some of the more frequent travelers and competitors that follow the rapidly-growing muscle car and Pro Touring events. One of those teams on hand was Spectre Performance, who traveled all the way from California with their 1971 Camaro driven by Brandy Morrow. Spectre made a trip of it, also traveling on the Hot Rod Power Tour the following week.
The road course activities took place on the Saturday of the event at the Putnam Park Road Course with a day chocked full of track time for all of the competitors. At the end f the day, Detroit Speed’s Kyle Tucker nailed the quickest lap and the lead in the weekend standings. Afterward, everyone packed up their belongings and headed south down scenic and windy US 231 for the Bowler Transmissions 99 Mile Cruise through southern Indiana to the town of Vincennes for the Flowmaster American Thunder Rib Feast.
On Sunday, the high-powered convoy converged upon the Mid America Air Center in nearby Lawrenceville, IL for a true challenge of ma and machine in the Ridetech Autocross and Baer Brakes Speed Stop Challenge.
If you missed it (or you just want to relive the excitement of the weekend), kick back and enjoy!
