Grin Ahhhh, ice cold A/C. WOO HOOO!!!

Thanks to one of the guys on MotownMuscle.com, who had a kit to retrofit my R-12 A/C setup (on my 1986 5th Avenue) to R-134a I now have ice cold air blowing into the pimp ride. Thank God!! He saved me a bunch of time, agrivation, and probably $30-$50.

By the way, for those worried about the shit that was in the compressor or A/C lines and what I did with it...

The lines and the compressor were completely empty and there was nothing released into the atmosphere. I stuck a key in one of the values to see if there was any pressure or freon left, and nothing came out. Your ozone layer was not depleated by me today.

I also hooked the pressure gauge that came with the kit up to the A/C system and it was in the Green, so I think all is good. I can roll cool in the G-Ride now. I just need a paint job, some gold 20" Dayton's, some dingo balls, and some crushed velvet on the dash and I can floss hard.
