Ashley Force-Hood qualified No. 1 for the second straight race and can play spoiler in the Funny Car championship title hunt. The other No. 1 qualifiers at the 23rd and final race of the season were Tony Schumacher (Top Fuel), Allen Johnson (Pro Stock) and Eddie Krawiec (Pro Stock Motorcycle).
