Road Trip anyone
I won a Mark VIII on e-bay. It's in Wyoming, Michigan, at about I-96 and Hwy-131. Anyone want to go with me to get it and drive either it or my Bronco II back for me tomorrow? A couple of free meals and some beer for your trouble.

Thanks, I'm pretty excited. I've been looking at prices of some of the good parts on it and I should be able to make a good deal of my money back. My motor is going to end up pretty damn cheap. Getting a welder cheap from my sister's boyfriend's dad so after Christmas I should be able to start making some serious progress on the Torino.

I went and got it tonight. I don't really want to part it out. I didn't realize what color it was. It is the sweet ass green that sort of shifts to blue color that I guess was pretty rare. If it wasn't for the dent in the back of the roof I might keep it and sell the Bronco II and get another Mark to part out. But since the roof is dented and scratched pretty bad and the trunk lid is scuffed up the plan will remain to part it out.

Me and my girlfriend both ended up being able to get out of work a little early. She was driving that direction tonight anyway so it worked out good like that. That's what I wanted to do all along but didn't think I'd be able to get over there early enough.
It was too dark for pics by the time I got it home. I'll post some pics tomorrow before I start ripping stuff off of it.
Due to the lack of front suspension in the Mark it was an interesting drive home. I wouldn't have wanted to make someone else drive that thing. If I had driven the Bronco II out there whoever went with would have needed to know how to drive a stick.

That's cool. Are you gonna use the motor & trans or are you gonna reuse the c4?
